The Boker Plus Komodor, designed by the Hungarian knifemaker Sándor Hegyes is a practical and rugged camping and outdoor knife. The full-tang build of high-quality SK-5 has mounted handle scales of nicely contoured black G10. The large hollow rivets in the handle reduce the weight and make it possible to attach a lanyard. For outdoor use, in particular, a carbon steel blade is still the first choice of many users since it can be easily sharpened, which can come in very handy in outdoor situations. The dark powder coating of the massive blade offers excellent corrosion resistance, while the full flat grind ensures top-notch cutting performance. The knife comes with a handy nylon sheath with puncture protection.
SK-5 is a modern carbon steel suitable for large knives as well as tomahawks and axes. Its hardness grade is 57-60 HRC. It is used in coatings on the Boker Plus tomahawks.
